Mouse Info – Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort finally has some interesting food variety now that Splitsville Luxury Lanes have opened. With burgers, sushi, pizzas, and more, the robust menu brings with it an explosion of new flavors to an otherwise very dated and tired dining lineup at the Disney shopping district. Oh, and there’s bowling, too!
Clearly, the component we’re most excited for with Splitsville is the food but there’s a lot to take in here. The overall space is a wonderful retro-inspired mid-century vibe, floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in lots of natural light, an expansive outdoor patio with nightly entertainment, two gigantic state-of-the-art kitchens, and 20 bowling lanes interspersed throughout various sections.
Gone is the concept of a mullet-style approach to a bowling alley (business in the front with lanes all in a row, party in the back with dining areas and more behind it) and instead the layout creates zones and areas that make the massive 40,000-square-foot, two-story, new space feel more inclusive and less overwhelming. On the first several sets of lanes feature no more than 2-4 lanes creating more intimate bowling experiences that should work quite well for parties and events.
Although the space has not officially grand opened, most of the features are now available. The second floor is still unavailable for now. Hours will likely vary (especially until the location is officially open) but, generally, you can expect Sunday – Thursday operation from 10:45 a.m.- midnight and Friday – Saturday operation from 10:45 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Ready to roll in and rock out? ENJOY!
